Beth Davies, AG®
Family History Research--U.S. & Canada
Specializing in Quebec Research

My
interest in genealogy began as a young teen-ager, but I began serious research
about 25 years ago. I have been a professional genealogist since 1988 and have
been accredited by the International Commission for the Accreditation of
Professional Genealogist
( ICAPGenSM) for research in French
Canada since 1996. I also do U.S. and Ontario
research. I have earned both the BYU Homestudy Genealogy Certificate and a B.S.
in Mathematics from BYU-Hawaii. I keep my skills up-to-date by attending
conferences, reading publications, and subscribing to professional and other
genealogical e-mail lists to learn of the newest research techniques
and sources. In
2006 and 2007 I attended the annual ICAPGen conference. In 2007 I
also attended the annual UGA conference.
On
a personal note, I am the mother of 7 kids, 7 kid-in-laws, and the 10 cutest
grandkids there are. I live in American Fork, Utah.
I
have served as secretary for both the Utah Valley Chapter of the Utah
Genealogical Association and for the Salt
Lake Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists and am
presently corresponding secretary for ICAPGenSM .
I am also a member of the National Genealogical Society, the
American-French Genealogical Society, and the French Canadian/Acadian
Genealogists of Wisconsin.
